Tax Update 2005
The Bulacan Chamber of Commerce & Industry has been organizing seminars in support of Bulacan Entrepreneurs.
One of these seminars is the Tax Update Seminar which is done annually to keep businesses posted on the latest developments with the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
This year, the Tax Update Seminar was held last March 15 at the Hiyas Convention Center with Ms. Janette R. Cruz, Chief of Large Taxpayers Division of BIR Head Office as resource speaker. Among the topics discussed were: allowable deductions, categories for income tax purposes, minimum corporate income tax, financial statements attached to ITR, income tax payments, creditable withholding tax, latest revenue memoranda/ regulations, transitory provisions, electronic sales reporting system and the no audit program. The seminar was scheduled such in preparation forthe tax season.
The seminar was well attended with fifty four (54) participants composed of Chamber members and non-members as well.
