Nine member companies tried to outplay each other during the 2005 Inter-Company Basketball Tournament organized by the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry from May 6 June 3, 2005. The opening ceremonies held at the Provincial KB Gym started with a parade of colors and culminated in the awarding Of the Best Muse and the Best Uniform.

Best Muse was Apple Martinez of Reyes Investigation and Security Agency while Best Uniform was awarded to Wella Metalcraft. The play offs were held for five consecutive Fridays and Saturdays starting at 5:00 PM. Participating companies included: Max's Restaurant, Asianland Strategies, BarCIE International Center, Reyes Investigation and Security Agency, Don Martin Montessori Learning School, Wella Metal Corporation, Pelikan International Travel, NMG Trophy Maker, and Digital Telecommunications, Inc.. Every game proved to be a cardiac event. The last two days of the game was very tension-filled as the best of the best was to emerge champion.

In the end, RISA dominated the race to the championship as they dribbled and shot their way to fame. Second place was the ever-aggressive group of Asian Land Strategies and third place was the new but very promising team of Don Martin Montessori Learning School.

Mel Gonzales of RISA was Most Valuable Player. The Mythical Five included Mel Gonzales and Demy Reyes of RISA, Bolong Cruz and Archie Limpabon of Asian Land, and Jomar David of Don Martin Montessori.

Except for some minor disturbances during the games, the tournament was one good exercise of sportsmanship and patience among the players. VP Alan Opao and VP Ariel Arceo were over-all in charge of this sports event.
