At the onset of terroristic acts, the business community has been more vigilant in looking after their enterprises. With this in view, the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce & Industry embarked on a seminar on security for the first time.

The seminar was entitled "Theft, Pilferage and Sabotage". This was held last June 30, 2005 at the Hiyas Convention Center with Mr. Danilo Pineda, former President of the Association of Hotel Security Officers of the Philippines (AHSOP) and presently the Chief Security Officer of Discovery Suite, as resource speaker.

The topics discussed were: theft pilferage, spotting high risk employees, protection techniques, total protection of corporate assets, adequate preventive measure against business losses, basic security concepts and sabotage.

The seminar was attended by 56 BCCI members and non-members.
