AGRARYO TRADE FAIR 2005: GATEWAY TO THE GLOBAL MARKET

Bulacan participated in the Agraryo Trade Fair 2005 held last June 8-12, 2005 at the Megatrade Hall 2, Bldg. B, SM Megamall, Mandaluyong City. The event was spearheaded by the Department of Agrarian Reform, with the theme "Gateway to Global Market". The fair was participated-in by LGU's and companies from the different regions of the Philippines, with each region highlighting their best products. Bulacan's participation was made possible through the joint efforts of the Provincial Government and the Bulacan Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The Bulacan Association of Food Producers and Exporters (BAFPEX) and BCCI brought in the best of Bulacan: Ilustrado's Chocolate, Bulacan Brew Coffee, El Negrense bottled sardines, Jennie's Chicharon, BJ Farm's Chicharon, Fe's Minasa, Fernando's Pan de sal Baliuag, Mary Ann's Native Delicacies, Sham-na Food Mfg., C&K Crafts, and Buntal Fashion Bags. Mary Ann's Native Delicacies proved to be the fair's top-seller in kakanin.

The activity served as a venue for broader market reach and business matching opportunities. Seminars and lectures were also conducted simultaneously. The Agraryo Trade Fair 2005 aimed to serve as a vehicle that will link beneficiaries to global development.
