BCCI Takes 5: Still North Luzon's Most Outstanding Local Chamber
For 5 consecutive years, BCCI has consistently garnered the Most Outstanding Local Chamber Award in the North Luzon Area. The award is given by the Philippine Chamber of Commerce, in recognition of a local chamber's leadership and dynamism, close partnership with government, and active participation in PCCI activities.
BCCI has proven to be the most organized chamber in the area as it has a permanent secretariat office and personnel. It has also proven its strong leadership and advocacy voice in the province through its recent accreditation by the Provincial Board as the locally-accredited body representing the business sector. By continually taking an active position on issues affecting business, BCCI was able to establish a stable partnership with the local government agencies and other non government and civic organizations through cooperation programs. The organization also supports the province's investment, trade and tourism promotion program.
As
a membership organization it offers a variety of services to
support local entrepreneurs in developing and upgrading existing
businesses and start-ups. Training programs and seminars are
part of its regular entrepreneurship development program.
Together with Governor Josie dela Cruz, who received the Most Business-Friendly Province Award, BCCI President Violeta C. Luna received the award from President Gloria M. Arroyo during the awarding ceremonies held during the 30th Philippine Business Conference last October 6, 2004 at the Manila Hotel.
The Sangguniang Panlalawigan, in recognition of BCCI's lasting achievement of excellence is conferring an award on the organization on November 8,2004.
