Representation
with Government |
| BCCI
assists the local government in the formulation and implementation
of economic policies. It is "the VOICE" of businessmen
in the province. As such, business concerns are brought
to the attention of the government for appropriate action.
BCCI enjoys the privilege of seating in the SMED Council,
TESDA, TWG, BIIB, Productivity Council and other agencies
and committees that enable the organization to have a
direct influence on the formulation of policies and its
implementation. |

Development |
BCCI
assists the development and upgrading of existing and
starting businesses. It provides training, technology
transfer, product development and marketing of products.
It also organizes trade, investments and study missions
locally and in foreign countries. It offers services for
the preparation of promotional collateral materials and
handouts on local products for dissemination to local
and foreign buyers and institutions.

foremost concern is to provide the entrepreneurial skills
and confidence to our local businessmen. Trainings and
seminars are undertaken and foreign study tours are organized
to provide innovative ideas for improving their businesses.

BCCI
collects government circulars, notices and statistical
data from government and other bodies and disseminate
information relating to trade, investment and tax regulations.
Reference materials, directories, trade journals and publications
are also acquired. BCCI also maintains liaisons with other
chambers of commerce in the country and abroad to promote
trade.

BCCI
provides a forum for government agencies, chamber members
and business delegations to exchange views and discuss
business matters. Committees regularly review and comment
upon legislative codes and other measures affecting the
growth and development of trade, commerce and industry.

with the local government of the province, BCCI has embarked
on several investment promotion programs such as inbound
and outbound trade missions. Sitting in the board of the
Provincial Investment Incentives Board, BCCI has a direct
hand in helping industries that need support the most.
Faced by the issue of attracting volume investments into
the province, it has facilitated the undertaking of bilateral
trade missions in China, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.

In
direct coordination with PhilExport, in which BCCI is
an affiliate member, exporters are given assistance on
expediting their transaction requirements and are counseled
on simplifying their export transactions.

and counseling services for tax purposes, documentation
processing and various other business matters are facilitated
by the BCCI.

coordination with the Bulacan State University, the BCCI

that member companies may need from time to time.
